Workday Adoption Project Update Volume 5

Hello NEIU Colleagues, 

The teams from Academic Affairs, Human Resources, Student Employment and UTS would like to thank the leadership and members of the Shared Governance groups. Last Friday, 11/3, we had a very important dialog about the Workday project. We hope that this discussion was the first of many to come as we continue to address the challenges our campus community is facing with Workday and identify the opportunities for system enhancements.

During the Shared Governance meeting, we referenced the Workday Adoption Report and Recommendations. For your knowledge and awareness, we invite you to read the full report so that you can have a better and more complete understanding of the path that led us to where we are today and the guide that is leading us into a more improved future state. HAVE A SUGGESTION? SUBMIT IT FOR REVIEW

During the Shared Governance meeting, we received great feedback from the participants to create a “Suggestion Box” for Workday.  The Suggestion Box is a way for the campus community to provide feedback related to their experience or enhancements they would like to see in the Workday system.  Here is the link to the newly created digital  “Suggestion Box.”

A few things to note:

  • The “Suggestion Box” is not a place to submit questions for help or support.  Colleagues still need to submit a ticket to the Support Desk (UTS) - helpdesk@neiu.edu

  • The “Suggestion Box” is also not a place to share your Workday tips/tricks.  We ask that you still use the Google Form link for those types of stories. 

SHARE YOUR STORY

Thanks to those colleagues who have already submitted an entry to the “Share Your Story” request.  We encourage colleagues to share your Workday story so that the campus can continue to learn from each other as we optimize how we use Workday to support our processes.
